Throughout the entirety of yk Records catalog there have been multiple occasions where more than one artist appeared on a release. However, in all but one of those occasions, the release always belonged to a specific artist. For instance, sugar sk*-*lls and Talking with Hands have both released a series of maxi-singles that contain incredible remixes by other artists. The same goes for Uncle Skeleton, Cody Uhler and Patrick Damphier. All wonderful collaborations from various artists but all canonically belonging to a singular artist.

To that end, the Various Artist tag is a rarity with the world of YK. Our Holiday Sampler 2024 is our only true compilation of original works from a variety of various artists. There will likely be more in the future but, for now, that comp is all there is.
